Installation

Due to Marketplace limitations, apps which use APIs from multiple Atlassian products, must install an app on each product used.

Since Task Reports for Jira loads data from both Jira and Confluence, you need to install a Helper App on Confluence. And you need to setup a secure connection between the apps.

First of all, make sure you have both

• the Main Jira App (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229490)

• and the Helper App (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1230140) installed on your Atlassian site.

To set up the secure connection between the Apps:

1) Go to the Confluence Helper App

• Generate a connection URL and copy it

2) Go to the Jira Tasks Reports App config

• Open Jira → “Manage Apps” → Left Menu: Task Reports

• Paste the connection URL

All done, go ahead and create your first Jira Dashboard!
