Today we have an important announcement to make for the Easy Calendar for Jira App.

Currently this is an information only announcement. Action by a Jira Admin is required soon, when the new release is available. Existing users please reach out for up to 100% discount for the free first year. Please contact support for any questions.

Summary

The Easy Calendar for Jira app is transitioning to a paid model end of April 2024 to ensure a robust, feature-rich, and secure experience for all users, and fund further development. We offer a free upgrade for 10 users, free custom transition options for existing users, and a 30-day free trial for everyone. The upgrade is required, the free version will stop working on .

Over the last 12 months Easy Calendar turned into a valuable solution to boost productivity, visibility and coordination across and beyond hundreds of organisations! Here are the main benefits:

  • Easy addition of Jira issues to personal calendars

  • Track releases, epics, and deadlines within calendars

  • COMING SOON Share release calendars, issues and changes with externals

The Easy Calendar for Jira App started as a hackathon project in September 2022. Since then it has evolved a lot, and we invested a lot: We added many features such as support for custom fields, time fields, and more Jira filter options. We improved the performance to make the subscriptions work more seamlessly with Outlook. We also invested in security and the app has been analysed by security specialists at BugCrowd, and will soon become “Atlassian Cloud Security Participant”, plus “Cloud Fortified”. Last but not least we continuously improve our support and will soon revamp the complete documentation of the app.

The App will be paid starting End of April 2023 when we ship our next major feature “Global Subscriptions”. This feature allows users to share calendar subscriptions globally internally and with external partners. In addition we’ll add a couple of feature requests we got from your side (e.g. naming subscriptions), and will constantly add more features. Request your feature here.

Unfortunately the Atlassian Forge Framework which we use will not allow us to support both the Free and Paid version in parallel. You need to upgrade if you want to continue using this app.

The app will still be FREE for under 10 users. Pricing will start 0.49c per user/month for the first 100 users and decrease significantly for larger tiers. We provide a 100% free upgrade period to existing customers, and as usual you get a 30-day risk free trial. If you can’t upgrade to the paid plan for any reason, please let us know and we’ll find a solution together!

Thank you very much for using Easy Calendar!
